Warm New Year's Eve

By | December 31, 2010

It’s an unseasonably warm day today, my data shows a high of 48, and that’s good data out of the sun.  The sun apparently warmed the hives enough for some cleaning and probably some cleansing flights.  I wasn’t home to see it, but as I checked around 3:30pm there were quite a few dead bees on both landing boards that had most certainly been brought out by the hives.  A few bees were around the hive on the right.  I really have to name them so I can reference them intelligently, although I need to devise a good naming scheme that can expand to others.
